It is necessary the present research based on the necessity of addressing the nature of science in the content of science textbooks. The purpose of the research is to study the content of high school physics textbooks on the subject of electricity and magnetism with an approach the nature of science. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive studies in terms of how to collect information. The statistical population in this study is physics2 for 11th grade students of the second year of experimental sciences in the educational system (6-3-3). The research method in this paper is qualitative content analysis method. The statistical population of the sample is paragraphs, which is considered as a unit of analysis. The text analysis of the paragraphs is based on three general aspects of the nature of science, including 1) the temporality of science, 2) the creativity of science, 3) the performance and comparison of theory and law in science by categorization. Also, data validation has been done by synchronization method. The results of the qualitative analysis section indicate that according to the extracted themes for the subcategories in the text of the books, more attention has been paid to the creative aspect of science than the other two aspects.
