Considering the important role that multiple intelligences play in completing the all-round development of people, preparing the content of textbooks based on this type of intelligence in the educational system seems to be an urgent need. Therefore, the present research has investigated and analyzed the content of the third grade sciences book from the point of view of the application of Gardner's multiple intelligence components in the lessons and in different formats of content presentation. This research is descriptive-analytical and applied. Its statistical population is the book of sciences of the third elementary school year of 1399-1400. The text, images and all learning activities of the book were examined and revised. Based on the definition and characteristics of each of the eight types of intelligence, a checklist of their examples was prepared and then the content of the book was coded. Based on the obtained results, the level of attention to different components of intelligence is not the same in all lessons and in different formats of content presentation. Data analysis and χ2 calculation showed a significant difference in favor of logical/mathematical intelligence and then linguistic/verbal intelligence. Also, other components of intelligence have been used to an unequal extent in different parts of the content. Musical intelligence was not identified in any lesson or format of content presentation.
