Evaluation is a systematic process for collecting, analyzing and interpreting information that is used to achieve the goals of education and to determine the level of academic progress of students. Since experimental science is a very practical and important subject, therefore, the current research tries to investigate the concept of evaluation and its necessity, the new methods of evaluation in the teaching of experimental sciences in Iran and other countries of the world, and the obstacles to the implementation of these methods. This research has been carried out by the library method (review) and its data collection method is library studies, text mining, reference to authoritative articles and internet search in authoritative databases from 1384 to 1400 for Persian vocabulary keys and from The year 2003 to 2020 is for the English vocabulary key. The findings show that the use of conceptual maps, case studies, work portfolios, behavior observation, self-evaluation, descriptive evaluation and paying attention to the emotional aspects of the student can be effective in achieving educational goals in the field of evaluation. Achieving such a goal requires the high effort and motivation of the officials, teachers and effective trustees in the education system to provide the context for the implementation of new and creative methods in the matter of evaluation with careful supervision, cooperation and coordination.
