Abstract
Highlights
investigating the effect of teaching mathematics, advanced organizers on the academic achievement of physics and examining the shortcomings of mathematics textbooks for teaching the prerequisites for the learning of physics concepts, common mathematical missunderstandings
in solving physics problems were identified. The appropriate content education were perfoprmed in a period of nine remedial sessions and students' essential math problems were analysed. A
pre-test-post-test design was used to test the effect of the treatment (teaching mathematic advanced organizers) on academic achievement in physics by a paired sample t-test. The research population is all female students in the 10th and 11th grades of the secondary school in the city of Bajestan in the academic year of 2020, and the sample was 32 students of experimental sciences selected by multi-stage cluster random sampling method. The results of data analysis showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group.
